Evolution and self love
It’s crazy to me how the 4 or 5 pounds that my body naturally shifts still manages to occupy a sometimes embarrassing amount of my brain space when I approach the heavier end of that fluctuation.
The violence that was my family of origin, warning me constantly as a child about the dangers of my own body taking up ever so much more space. Yet they were the ones purchasing the groceries and serving as models for the foundation of my relationship with food.
The intuitive, self-loving, bad ass woman that i am working to become knows this is utter dog shit.
She knows that we are born lovable, and that sometimes it takes a heroic amount of bravery to begin to truly love ourselves without condition.
She knows that we are worthy of the space we inhabit, but sometimes in order to really feel at home there, we need to give ourselves permission to take up some space.
When we learn to have compassion for our own humanness, when we start loving ourselves unconditionally, we vibrate higher and attract higher energy people into our lives.
I Invite You…
To grow into the beautiful spirit that you already are.
To have compassion for your humanness; to bravely love yourself regardless of what you’ve been taught about self-love.
To tell your inner critic to go kick rocks; tell her that you are 100% beautiful and lovable just as you are here and now.
You are nothing short of beautiful.
Join me. Together, let’s work to keep growing, evolving, living, loving; becoming our best selves.
